How to Change Passport Number in Civil ID Kuwait Online? It is essential to update your passport number in your Kuwait Civil ID after you renew your passport. Keeping your residency and identification records up-to-date is the best way to ensure accuracy. You may complete the process online using the portal of the Ministry of Interior (MOI).

  • Step 1: Visit the Kuwait Official MOI website.
  • Step 2: Navigate to E-Services and click on “General Department of Residency”.
  • Step 3:- Click on the individual and select “Individual Services Platform”.
  • Step 4:- Login to your account using your credentials.
  • Step 5:- After logging in, click on “Update passport info”.
  • Step 6:- On the next page you will see the “Passport Details Change Request” form. 
  • Step 7:- Enter the required information in the form, such as: 
  • Choose your governorate
  • Old Passport Number and Old Passport Nationality
  • New Passport Number and New Passport Nationality
  • New Passport Issue Date and New Passport Expiry Date
  • Your Active Mobile Number and Email Address

Upload the necessary documents such as Civil ID Frontside Copy, Civil ID Backside Copy, Previous Passport Copy, New Passport Copy and Additional Page if you have.

  • Step 8:- Click on the “Submit” button. 
  • Step 9:- After clicking on submit, you will see a confirmation receipt.
  • Step 10:- Save this receipt for future reference. 

The Passcode is an identification code issued by the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Kuwait, used for accessing certain online services. This passcode is typically required when logging into the MOI E-Services portal to perform tasks like renewing residency, updating passport details, or checking your residency status.

  • Step 1:- Open the “Kuwait Mobile ID” app.

  • Step 4:- In the Application Type choose Passport Details Change, and enter your Civil ID No and Pass Code. 
  • Step 5:- Click on “Request Status”.
  • Step 6:- Now you can see your passport details status.

Once your passport number is updated in the MOI system, apply for a new Civil ID with updated details:

  • Step 1:- Visit the official PACI Kuwait website.
  • Step 2:- Click on “Card Renewal”.
  • Step 3:- Enter your “Civil ID” No.
  • Step 4:- Click on the “Submit” button.
  • Step 5:- After clicking on Submit, your renewal fee will appear on the screen.
  • Step 6:- Click on the “Pay” button.
  • Step 7:- On the next page, you will see a payment receipt.
  • Step 8:- Then select your bank and click on the submit button to pay.
  • Step 9:- At the end you will receive a “successful payment” receipt.
  • Step 10:- Print this receipt for future reference.

The Individual E-Services Platform can be accessed via the link moi.gov.kw, where you can submit a request to Change Passport Number in Civil ID.

  • Submit a letter from the concerned person confirming the passport loss.
  • Publish an announcement in the official Kuwait newspaper (Kuwait Al Youm).
  • The replacement passport will be issued after the mandatory 5-month legal period as per the Ministerial Act.
